Chairman Brad Johnson called the regular monthly board meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Pledge of Allegiance

PRESENT: Brad Johnson, Chairman, Keith Karpenski, John Bonneprise, Gary Dado and Helen Johnson Town Board Supervisors, Judy Demulling – Town Clerk and Margo Dahl - Treasurer.

AGENDA: Motion was made by Supervisor Johnson, second by Supervisor Karpenski to approve adoption of the proposed agenda. Motion carried.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer’s report was presented to the Town Board. Motion was made by Supervisor Johnson, second by Supervisor Dado to approve the treasurer’s report as presented. Motion carried.

MINUTES: Motion was made by Supervisor Bonneprise, second by Supervisor Johnson to approve the minutes of the January 13, 2011 Regular Town Board Meeting, January 13, 2011 Town Caucus, January 18, 2011 Board of Supervisor’s Meeting and the January 26, 2011 Board of Supervisor’s Meeting. Motion carried.

a.  Possible Approval of Citation Ordinance – Motion was made by Supervisor Johnson, second by Supervisor Dado to approve the Town of Alden Citation Ordinance. Roll call vote: Supervisor Bonneprise – yes, Supervisor Dado – yes, Supervisor Johnson – yes, Supervisor Karpenski – yes, Chairman Johnson – yes. Motion carried.

b.  Resolution to Approve Job Description for Clerk – Motion was made by Supervisor Dado, second by Supervisor Karpenski to approve Resolution #59-2011 Clerk’s Job Description. Roll call vote: Supervisor Johnson – yes, Supervisor Bonneprise – yes, Supervisor Karpenski – yes, Supervisor Dado – yes, Chairman Johnson – yes. Motion carried.

c.  Resolution to Approve Job Description for Treasurer – Motion was made by Chairman Johnson, second by Supervisor Bonneprise to approve Resolution #60-2011 Treasurer’s Job Description. Roll call vote: Supervisor Karpenski – yes, Supervisor – Bonneprise – yes, Supervisor Dado – yes, Supervisor Johnson – yes, Chairman Johnson – yes. Motion carried.

d.  Revisit Support for a Camera in Road Right of Way on Church Pine Lake – Motion was made by Supervisor Johnson, second by Supervisor Karpenski to put the support for a I-LIDS camera on next month’s agenda after presenting to the Town Engineer, Dan Fedderly and will also look into getting more information. Motion carried.

a.  Certificate of Deposit – Anchor Bank – Motion was made by Supervisor Karpenski, second by Supervisor Johnson to not re-new the Certificate of Deposit from Anchor Bank and place in Bremer Bank’s sweep account. Motion carried.

b.  Review Procedure for On Sale Liquor License – Motion was made by Supervisor Karpenski, second by Supervisor Bonneprise to send a letter to Mr. Don Burkman, from Burkhaven Resort relating the information obtained from the Wisconsin Towns Association. Motion carried.

a. Report on Progress of Nuisance and Parking Ordinance – Sample Ordinances were presented and Gary Dado updated the board on the progress.

a.  Possible Purchasing of a Loader – No discussion will be put on the Board of Supervisor’s Meeting on February 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.

b.  Residents Placing Snow on Road Right of Way – Motion by Supervisor Johnson, second by Supervisor Dado to approve the draft letter by Chairman Johnson and send to residents placing snow on the road right of way. Motion carried.

AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MONTH – Purchase of Loader, Camera on Church Pine Lake, Certificate of Deposit.
